Behind every bounce house setup is a dedicated driver who works tirelessly, mostly behind the scenes, a 1 man army, to make your day a big success!
In Summary - The value of a tip!
If you ever tip your server at a restaurant or the person delivering your pizza—who usually carry less than 50 pounds at a time and staying clean—please consider tipping our delivery drivers as well. Our team regularly lifts inflatables weighing over 400 pounds, drives and works 12+ hour days, and waits until your desired pick up time, and drives for hours while towing heavy equipment all in the name of party service. They do all of this every weekend, rain or shine, under the sun and moonlight, just to make sure your event goes off without a hitch. It’s physically demanding work, and it's not easy to find people willing to give up their weekends to do it—so your tip is more than just appreciated, it truly makes a difference.
A Day in the Life of Our Drivers
Our drivers start their weekends before the sun comes up, arriving at our warehouse between 5–6 AM to begin a long day of deliveries. They load up heavy inflatables (some weighing over 400 lbs!) and then hit the road, often driving 6 to 8 hours a day depending on their route distance and work load.
Throughout the day, they:
- Haul and unload massively heavy equipment multiple times
- Set up bounce houses carefully and safely
- Get soaking wet head-to-toe setting up and picking up waterslides
- Take a few short mid-day breaks before starting the pick-up phase
- Work since the morning into the evening, sometimes until 9 or 10 PM, reversing the entire process in the morning to tear down, reload, and return all equipment before going home.
This work is physically demanding for drivers and requires long hours, up to 8 hours a day towing, lifting, and dedication—every single weekend!
Why Your Tips Make a Difference
If you’ve ever tipped a server or a pizza delivery driver, we hope you’ll consider tipping our team too. While others may carry a tray or box, our drivers lift and carry hundreds of pounds and drive all across San Diego (literally) to ensure your party goes off without a hitch. Drivers work through wet grass, dirt, mud, and puddles—often ending the day with soaking wet shoes and socks, and filthy clothes!
A small tip goes a long way! It shows appreciation for their sacrifice, greatly helps motivate our crew, and supports the people working hard to make your event memorable.
Thank you for supporting our business and our incredible team.
If you believe in tipping great service, we kindly ask you to consider tipping our drivers. It truly makes a difference.
Have an amazing event,
Best regards,
– The Jumperland Team
